Description of the Microsoft Windows registrySYMPTOMSWhen you try to use Windows Fax and Scan to send or receive a fax in Windows Vista, the transmission may not finish after a connection is established.
CAUSEThis issue may occur if one of the following conditions is true:
WORKAROUNDWarning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk. To work around this issue, you must use a different class support to retransmit the fax. To do this, follow these steps:
