In Microsoft Office Access 2007, when you try to change the Control Source property for a control on a report or on a form, Access 2007 may close unexpectedly. Additionally, you receive one of the following error messages:

•	Error message 1 Microsoft Office Access has stopped working.
•	Error message 2 Microsoft Office Access has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:

•	The report or the form is in Layout view.
•	The report or the form contains a subreport or a subform.

To work around this problem, change the Control Source property for a control when the report or the form is in Design view.
