Thursday, December 07, 2006

There are some new features built into Windows Vista that make identifying and fixing network related issues much easier than in the past. In this session Tim Rains will introduce you to the Network Diagnostics Framework (NDF) and to the Network Connectivity Status Indicator (NCSI). These features make it easy to identify and fix common networking related issues with little or no networking knowledge.

This is a Level 200 (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=gp;en-us;webcastlevels&sd=gn) session presented by Tim Rains .

Tim Rains is a Program Manager on the Network Devices and Technology - Network Experience team in the Core Operating Systems Division at Microsoft. Tim and his team have been working on network diagnostics for Windows Vista. Tim has spent numerous years helping customers with networking and security related issues.
