On This PageSYMPTOMSYou cannot exit a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in on a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003. You experience this problem if the following conditions are true:
CAUSEThis problem may occur if MMC 3.0 detects a pop-up window. To help prevent the loss of unsaved data that you have entered into a MMC 3.0 snap-in, MMC 3.0 makes sure that no pop-up windows are open before MMC 3.0 exits. However, some IMEs create pop-up windows that prevent MMC 3.0 from exiting. RESOLUTIONService pack informationTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows Server 2003.
