This article describes how to manage your Zune account.
You can access and manage your Zune account by visiting the Zune.net Web site or by using the Zune software.
To access your account, follow these steps.
Through zune.net- Visit http://www.zune.net

- Click Sign in, and then enter your name and password.
- Click Social, and then click My Account.
Through the Zune software- Start the Zune software.
- Click Sign in, and then enter your name and password.
- Click your Zune tag in the upper right corner, and then click Account.
On your account page, you can access the following features:
- Account Summary: A summary that includes your active subscription details and available Microsoft Points balance, as applicable.
- Zune Pass and Microsoft Points: Change or cancel your Zune Pass subscription, purchase Microsoft Points to use at the Zune Marketplace, or redeem a prepaid card.
- Zune Newsletter: Get Zune News. Zune newsletters give you artist and music recommendations, special promotional offers, device advice, user tips, and more.
- Account Information: Manage billing and personal contact information, change your password, change your Zune tag, and edit family and privacy settings.
- Preferences: Change your social notifications preferences or forums preferences, and register your Zune device.
- Promotions: See what promotions, sweepstakes, content, or special offers you are signed up for, and review and edit your promotions preferences.
