The Document ID log report does not contain information about deleted documents in SharePoint Server 2007

Consider the following scenario. You use an account that has full permissions to log on to a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 document library. Then, you delete a document that includes a workflow. In this scenario, when you view the Document ID log report, it does not contain information about the deleted document.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
