SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. User A submits a new document in a Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 document library that includes a Group Approval workflow. User B opens the document, clicks Claim task, and then clicks Approve to open the Review form. User B clicks Release task to release the task.

In this scenario, when you use an account that has that has administrative permissions to log on to the SharePoint Server 2007 document library, and then click My Approval, you notice that User B still has the Contributor permission to the task. This problem occurs even though User B has released the task.
