SYMPTOMS

You experience incompatibility issues when you implement the following operations in Exchange System Manager or in the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in in Microsoft Exchange Server 2003:
In Exchange System Manager, you change the offline address list server from a server that is running Exchange 2003 to a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 server.
In Exchange System Manager, you select an Exchange 2007 server as the offline address list server when you create a new offline address list.
In Exchange System Manager, you change the Recipient Update Service server to an Exchange 2007 server.
In Exchange System Manager, you remove an Exchange 2007 server.
In Exchange System Manager, you use Queue Viewer to open the Exchange 2007 queue. However, you receive an error message in the Additional queue information area. Therefore, you cannot view the queue.
In Exchange System Manager, you create a recovery storage group under the Exchange 2007 object.
In Exchange System Manager, you create a system policy in an Exchange 2003 administrative group to include Exchange 2007 servers from an Exchange 2007 administrative group.
In Exchange 2003 Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in, you select the Exchange 2007 mailbox stores when you create mailbox-enabled objects or when you move mailboxes.
In Exchange System Manager, you reconnect to Exchange 2007 mailboxes in the Mailbox Recovery Center.
