Error message when you reimport a customization into Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0: "The selected customization file does not conform to the required customization file schema"

SYMPTOMS

Consider the following scenario. You import a customization into Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. Then, you export the customization from Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. Finally, you reimport the customization into Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. In this scenario, you receive the following error message:
The selected customization file does not conform to the required customization file schema.
