You try to install Windows Vista on a computer that includes a DELL CERC SATA 1.5/6ch RAID controller from Dell. However, when the computer restarts, you receive an error message that resembles the following:
STOP 0x0000007B (0xF9813BD8,0xC0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)
This problem occurs if you try to complete a clean install of Windows Vista on a computer that includes a DELL CERC SATA 1.5/6ch RAID controller. A filter driver named Afamgt.sys is loaded for the DELL CERC SATA 1.5/6ch RAID controller. However, the Afamgt.sys filter driver is incompatible with Windows Vista.
To resolve this problem, contact Dell to obtain an updated driver package that does not include the Afamgt.sys filter driver.
