You cannot renew the connection to a PivotTable when you use an OLAP 8.0 connection to create the PivotTable in Excel 2007

When you use a Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services OLAP 8.0 connection to create a PivotTable in Microsoft Office Excel 2007, you cannot renew the connection to the PivotTable.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
