On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you log on to your
mailbox by using Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access, the text in system messages or in "Out of Office"
(OOF) messages is displayed in an incorrect language. This incorrect
language is configured in the "Regional and Language Options"
dialog box of the operating system that is running Microsoft Exchange Server 2003.
CAUSEThis problem occurs when the EXOLEDB component subscribes to
the mailbox. When this condition is true, the Locale ID property of your mailbox is
incorrectly set to the language that is currently configured in the "Regional and Language
Options" dialog box in Exchange Server 2003. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.If the hotfix is available for download, there is a "Hotfix download available" section at the top of this Knowledge Base article.
