The AutoPlay window does not appear when you connect a powered-up video camera to a Windows Vista-based computer

SYMPTOMS

When you connect a powered-up video camera to a Windows Vista-based computer by using an IEEE 1394 cable or a USB cable, the AutoPlay functionality does not work. For example, you do not see an AutoPlay window that lists the available options to use with the video camera.

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, manually start Windows Movie Maker. You can then import video from the video camera. To start Windows Movie Maker, click Start
