Shape properties in worksheets are not updated correctly in Microsoft Office Excel 2007

When you open a worksheet in Microsoft Office Excel 2007, and you have macros enabled, shape properties may not be updated in a timely manner.

This problem occurs because shape properties are not updated in Excel 2007 until the code that is contained in the macro has run successfully. After the code has run, the shape properties display correctly.

To work around this issue, you must add an additional DoEvent function immediately following the existing DoEvent function in the Microsoft Visual Basic code that is contained in the macro.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
