Description of the Microsoft Windows registry SYMPTOMSYou use the ISA2KExport.exe tool to migrate Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) or with Service Pack 2 (SP2) to ISA Server 2004, Standard Edition. After you do this, you may receive an error message that resembles the following: ISA2KExport - Error This tool requires Microsoft Internet Security and Acceleration (ISA) Server 2000 Standard Edition and ISA Server Service Pack 1 (or later). CAUSEThis issue occurs if the MS-ISA_S@v3.0.1200.50 registry entry does not exist in the registry. This registry entry must contain the path of the ISA Server installation. RESOLUTIONWarning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk.
