SYMPTOMS

When you wake a Windows Vista-based computer from sleep or from hibernation, you receive a "Stop 0x44" error message in the Usbhub.sys process. This error message resembles the following:
STOP 0x00000044(parameter1, parameter2, parameter3, parameter4)
MULTIPLE_IRP_COMPLETE_REQUESTS

Service pack information

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows Vista. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

Hotfix information
