The hotfix that is discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
You experience a time-out and slow performance when you use the Microsoft CRM Connector for Microsoft Dynamics GP to perform one of the following actions:
Add or update records in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 after the records have been integrated in Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0
Add or update records in Microsoft Dynamics GP 9.0 after the records have been integrated in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0
Additionally, the following error message is logged in the Application log on the Microsoft CRM Connector server:
Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed.
Time-out error messages may also be logged in the Integration Monitor tool for Microsoft CRM Connector.
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

Installation information
Install this hotfix on computers that are running the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Connector for Microsoft Dynamics GP.
Prerequisites
You must have the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Connector installed to apply this hotfix.
Restart requirement
If you are prompted, restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.
Removal information
To remove this hotfix from a computer that is running Microsoft Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Windows XP, or Microsoft Windows 2000, use Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.
System administrators can use the Spuninst.exe tool to remove this hotfix from a computer that is running Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 2000.
The Spuninst.exe tool is located in the %Windir%\$NTUninstallKB925748$\Spuninst folder.
