Description of the Microsoft Windows registry SYMPTOMSWhen you try to start the SoftGrid Client service, the SoftGrid Client service does not start. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
Could not start the SoftGrid Client service on Local Computer. Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start. CAUSEThis problem may occur if the path of the Sftfs.fsd file is not valid. RESOLUTIONWarning Serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly by using Registry Editor or by using another method. These problems might require that you reinstall the operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved. Modify the registry at your own risk. To resolve this problem, follow these steps from the SoftGrid Client:
