CAUSEThe problem may occur if a user uses IP preservation in a Windows Server 2003-based computer that is under heavy load and uses Windows Server 2003 SP1 or Windows Server 2003 SP2. The IP NAT driver may incorrectly process the reset interface request in Windows Server 2003 SP1 and in Windows Server 2003 SP2. RESOLUTIONHotfix InformationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing.
