Message Queuing may not start after you install Message Queuing with the Active Directory Integrated option enabled on a Windows Server 2003-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer

SYMPTOMS

On a Windows Server 2003-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer, you install Microsoft Message Queuing with the Active Directory Integrated option enabled. When you do this, the Message Queuing service may not start for the first time.

CAUSE

This issue may occur because of the delay for the Active Directory replication. The delay occurs if the following conditions are true:

An object was created on a remote domain controller.
The computer on which Message Queuing is installed selects a different domain controller when the computer starts.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, use one of the following methods.

Method 1

Wait for the Active Directory replication.

Manually perform an Active Directory replication before you start the Message Queuing service.
