If you put the computer to sleep while the PPP connection is active, the screen goes black. This problem may occur if you have installed or you are trying to install a Network Device Interface Specification (NDIS) Intermediate driver when you are using the PPP connection. NDIS Intermediate drivers are usually found in Firewall products and VPN client products.
