CAUSEThis problem occurs because of a bug that prevents the automatic syncing mechanism from starting. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server service pack that contains this hotfix.To resolve this problem immediately, contact Microsoft Customer Support Services to obtain the hotfix. MORE INFORMATIONAfter you apply this hotfix, Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server will synchronize with Active Directory at the default interval of one hour. If you want to change the synchronization interval, change the Web.Config file. The Web.Config file is in the following location on the Team Foundation Server application tier server: %Program Files%\Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Foundation Server\Web Services To change the Web.Config file, add the following sample code to the <appSettings> section of the Web.Config file:
