This article contains Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS) 2003 Advanced Client support information for x64-based versions of Windows operating systems.
The original release version of the SMS 2003 Advanced Client does not support x64-based versions of Windows operating systems. Also, the SMS 2003 Legacy Client does not support x64-based versions of Windows operating systems.
However, SMS 2003 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and later versions provide support for x64-based versions of Windows operating systems for the SMS Advanced Client. Because the SMS Advanced Client runs as a 32-bit program, the x64-based versions of Windows operating systems change the location of the following items.
