Windows Mobile Device Center offers device management features. Additionally, Windows Mobile Device Center lets you synchronize data between a Windows Mobile-based device and a computer. You cannot install or run Microsoft ActiveSync on Windows Vista. However, the features that are available in ActiveSync on Microsoft Windows XP and on earlier versions of Windows are available in Windows Mobile Device Center on Windows Vista. You can use these features to set up your desktop partnership and to synchronize a device and a computer. These features include some device management features that are available together with other Microsoft applications.
