SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms when you use the Microsoft BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.3 to process RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF) 1.1 messages:
  • The BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.3 incorrectly inserts a new GUID value in the <ServiceHeader><ProcessControl><TransactionControl><SignalControl><inResponseTo><ActionIdentity><InstanceIdentity> element in signal messages.
  • The BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.3 incorrectly inserts a new GUID value in the <ServiceHeader><ProcessControl><TransactionControl><ActionControl><inResponseTo><ActionIdentity><InstanceIdentity> element in response messages.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Before you install the hotfix that this article describes, the BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.3 incorrectly populates the inResponse elements of the service header by using a new GUID value instead of by using the value in the <ServiceHeader><ProcessControl><TransactionControl><ActionControl><inResponseTo><ActionIdentity><InstanceIdentity> element of the incoming document.

After you install the hotfix that this article describes, the BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet 3.3 correctly populates the value in the <ServiceHeader><ProcessControl><TransactionControl><ActionControl><inResponseTo><ActionIdentity><InstanceIdentity> element by using the value from incoming documents.
