On This PageINTRODUCTIONThis article describes how to update Microsoft Commerce Server 2007, Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 and Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 R2 to reflect the changes to daylight saving time (DST) that occurred in many time zones in 2012. The DST changes affect only the Datawarehousing component of Commerce Server. If you are not using Data Warehouse, you do not have to apply this hotfix. MORE INFORMATIONMany products have been changed to reflect the DST start date and end date that were established in 2012. These DST changes were made in the United States and other countries to comply with the Energy Policy Act of 2005. There is no prerequisite to apply the hotfix for Commerce Server 2009 and Commerce Server 2009 R2.Restart informationYou do not have to restart the computer after you apply this hotfix.Registry informationYou do not have to change the registry.Hotfix replacement informationYou must uninstall the previous DST hotfix and then apply this new hotfix. Otherwise, this new hotfix is not applied.File informationThe English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time.
