SYMPTOMS

When you browse an association mining structure in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services, you obtain an incorrect prediction. The prediction contains an item that has no association with the predicted result.

This problem occurs if the following conditions are true:
  • You create the mining structure by using the Microsoft Association algorithm.
  • You set the MAXIMUM_ITEMSET_SIZE parameter for the Microsoft Association algorithm to zero or to a large value.

RESOLUTION

Cumulative update information
