When you try to install Microsoft System Center Operations Manager 2007 or you try to install Microsoft System Center Essentials 2007, the Setup Welcome page appears to be empty.

This issue occurs when Active Scripting is disabled for the Local Intranet zone in Microsoft Internet Explorer. Active Scripting must be enabled to view the content on the Setup Welcome page.

To resolve this issue, follow these steps:

1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.
2. Click the Security tab, select the appropriate Web content zone if it is not already selected, and then click Custom Level.
3. Locate the Scripting settings. Under Active scripting, click to select the Enable check box, and then click OK.
