SYMPTOMS

On a Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006-based server, you submit a message that includes the following extended characters in one or more of the SWIFT fields:
  • Ñ
  • á
  • é
When the customer receives the generated message that BizTalk Server 2006 handles, the extended characters are removed from the generated message. Additionally, "A4SWIFT_Failed=false" appears in the generated file.

RESOLUTION

Hotfix information

You must have BizTalk Accelerator for SWIFT 2.3 Service Pack 1 installed to apply this hotfix.
