and log on to a Windows XP-based computer, all files are unexpectedly removed
from the local My Documents folder. These files are not restored until you synchronize the local My Documents
folder. You notice this problem if the following conditions are true:
CAUSEThis problem occurs when Client-Side Caching (CSC) queries
the My Documents folder location from the following registry subkey: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell
Folders RESOLUTIONAfter
you install this hotfix, the path of the My Documents folder is stored
in the following registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User
