The hotfix that is discussed in this article is unavailable for the Chinese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
When you try to view the Sales Pipeline report or the Account Distribution report in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0, you receive an error message that contains the English string "Not specified." However, you receive this error message in a non-English localized version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0. This problem occurs when you click certain items in the Group by list before you click View Report.
Hotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.

File informationThe English version of this hotfix has the file attributes (or later file attributes) that are listed in the following table. The dates and times for these files are listed in Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). When you view the file information, it is converted to local time. To find the difference between UTC and local time, use the Time Zone tab in the Date and Time item in Control Panel.

Installation informationThis hotfix contains a self-extracting package file. After you extract the contents of the package file, follow these steps to install the updated reports on the computer that is running the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server:
Restart requirementIf you are prompted, restart the computer after you install the hotfix.
Removal informationTo remove the updated reports, follow the steps in the "Installation information" section to reinstall the original reports.
