You see a black screen or a still video image after a video works briefly in Communicator 2005

When you start a video conversation between a Microsoft Office Communicator 2005 client and a Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 client, the connection is established as expected. However, in Communicator 2005, you see either a black screen or a still video image after the video works briefly.

Note The video stream from the Communicator 2005 client to the Communicator 2007 client works as expected.

The issue occurs because Communicator 2005 cannot handle the new video stream format that is used in Communicator 2007.

How to obtain the hotfix
