You may experience either of the following problems when you use a Toshiba optical drive that is connected to a portable Toshiba computer that is running Windows Vista:
| • | The drive is not recognized when wake the computer from sleep. |
| • | You use a hot-swap operation or a warm-swap operation to connect a Toshiba device bay optical drive to the computer. In this scenario, the drive is not recognized.
Note In a "hot-swap operation," you connect the drive while the computer is still running. In a "warm-swap operation," you connect the drive while the computer is asleep, and then you wake the computer. |
