Removal information

You cannot use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel to remove this download. To remove Word Viewer SP3 from your computer, you must remove Word Viewer. Then, reinstall Word Viewer SP3 from your original Word Viewer download.

Information for administrators about .msp files

The administrative service pack consists of two full-file Microsoft Windows Installer files (.msp files) that are packaged in a self-extracting executable file. Both updates must be installed to update the Word Viewer product to Service Pack 3. The .msp files in the following table are distributed in this service pack.

Note The PREWDVIEWERSP3.msp update is installed to update the configuration of Office to fix a problem with applying the service pack. If the PREWDVIEWERSP3.msp file is uninstalled, it cannot be reinstalled. When it is uninstalled, it does not reintroduce the problem.

Features for reinstalling specific components for administrators

If you update your administrative installation point, and you recache and reinstall Word Viewer 2003 on client computers, you can run a command line that includes the REINSTALL=[list of features] property.
