Microsoft has released a service pack for Microsoft Office Excel 2003 Viewer. INTRODUCTION

Excel 2003 Viewer Service Pack 3 (SP3) contains significant security improvements, stability improvements, and performance improvements. Some fixes that are included with Excel Viewer 2003 SP3 were previously released in separate updates. Excel Viewer 2003 SP3 combines the previously released fixes into one update.

Features for reinstalling specific components for administrators

If you update your administrative installation point, and you recache and reinstall Excel Viewer 2003 on client computers, you can run a command line that includes the REINSTALL=[list of features] property. This property specifies whether you want to reinstall specific components of Excel Viewer 2003 from the administrative image.
