In Projects in Microsoft Dynamics AX 4.0, you try to schedule an Hour Forecast for an individual project. However, the Hour Forecast schedule is not created. Additionally, you may receive the following error message:
Working time has not been specified for date.

This issue may occur if a work center or a work center group is not set in the Work Center box.

To resolve this issue, add a work center or a work center group to the scheduled Hour Forecast. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. In Project, click Projects.
  2. Click the project for which you are trying to schedule an Hour Forecast.
  3. Click Forecast.
  4. Click Hour.
  5. On the Overview tab, click the activity that you created to schedule the Hour Forecast.
  6. Click Forecast.
  7. Click the General tab.
  8. Under Work center alternative, click the appropriate work center in the Work center box.
