Information for users is incorrectly displayed in Office Communicator 2005

When you use Microsoft Office Communicator 2005, you may experience the following issues:

• In the search results window, incorrect information for users is displayed if the users are not in the buddy list.
• In a conversation, incorrect information for users is displayed if the users are not in the buddy list.

This problem may occur when there is a network connectivity issue between Communicator 2005 and Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005.

How to obtain the hotfix

This issue is fixed in the Communicator 2005 Hotfix Package that is dated May 04, 2007. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

To work around this problem, restart Communicator 2005.

Note If the network connectivity issues between Communicator 2005 and Live Communications Server 2005 persist, the problem may occur again.
