Web beacons and HTML forms in e-mail message attachments are blocked regardless of the FilterWebBeaconsAndHtmlForms parameter setting for the Outlook Web Access virtual directory in Exchange Server 2007
SYMPTOMSIn Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, you can set the FilterWebBeaconsAndHtmlForms parameter of the Microsoft Office Outlook Web Access virtual directory to allow Web beacons and HTML forms. In this situation, you can set the FilterWebBeaconsAndHtmlForms parameter to DisableFilter or to UserFilterChoice. However, Web beacons and HTML forms in e-mail attachments are blocked regardless of the parameter setting. This behavior may interfere with third-party solutions that rely on Web beacons and on HTML forms in e-mail message attachments. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem in Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1, install Update Rollup 1 for Exchange Server 2007 Service Pack 1.
