You receive error code -203 when you try to install the Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin on a computer that is running Windows Vista

SYMPTOMS

When you try to install the Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin on a computer that is running Windows Vista and Mozilla Firefox version 2.0.0.3, the installation may be unsuccessful. When this problem occurs, the Setup Wizard generates the following error code:
Error code -203

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install the latest version of the Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin. To obtain the Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin, visit the following Microsoft Web site:
http://port25.technet.com/pages/windows-media-player-firefox-plugin-download.aspx (http://port25.technet.com/pages/windows-media-player-firefox-plugin-download.aspx)

WORKAROUND

To work around this problem, restart Firefox. Then, restart the Windows Media Player Firefox Plugin installation program. When you do this, you may receive a message that states that Windows is changing the Firefox compatibility settings. You do not have to take any action when you receive this message.
