Consider the following scenario:
| • | A user has a mailbox that is hosted in Microsoft Exchange Server 2007. |
| • | On the client computer, the locale setting is not English (United States). For example, the locale setting is English (Australia). This locale has a date format of DD/MM/YYYY instead of MM/DD/YYYY. |
| • | The user sends an e-mail message that requires a read receipt. |
When the user receives the read receipt message from the recipient, the body of the read receipt message displays the read date in the MM/DD/YYYY format instead of in the DD/MM/YYYY format. This behavior may confuse e-mail senders.
