How to obtain and install Expression Web SP1

Expression Web SP1 is available on the Microsoft Download Center, together with installation instructions and with deployment strategies. To download this service pack from the Microsoft Download Center, visit the following Microsoft Web site:

Removal information

You cannot use the Add or Remove Programs item in Control Panel to remove this service pack. To remove Expression Web SP1 from your computer, you must remove Expression Web, and then reinstall Expression Web from your original Expression Web CD-ROM. How to determine whether the service pack is installed

You do not have to install this service pack if you have a later version of the files that are listed in the file table. To determine whether the files that are listed in the file table are installed, follow these steps:
1. Start Search Companion. To do this, click Start, and then click Search.

Note If Windows Desktop Search starts, click Click here to use Search Companion.
2. In the Search Results window, click All files and folders in the Search Companion pane.
3. In the All or part of the file name box, type the name of the file, and then click Search.
4. In the list of files, right-click the file, and then click Properties.
5. On the General and Version tabs, examine the file properties of the file that is installed on the computer.
