INTRODUCTION

Issues that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix package fixes the following issues that were not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:
  • You create a form that uses the Item.Close statement in an Item_Write event. When you save and then close a new item that was created by using the form in Outlook 2007, Outlook 2007 closes unexpectedly. Additionally, you receive the following error message:
Microsoft Office Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
When you view the data in the error report, the report contains an error signature that resembles the following error signature.

  • When a message is saved as a missed conversation in the Microsoft Office Communicator folder in Outlook 2007, the message indicator for the folder does not indicate a new, unread message.
  • The regional options on the computer are set to Latvian. In an Outlook form, you either click a date in a date field or type the date and then add a space after the date in a date field. When you press TAB to exit the date field, the date is removed. Additionally, the date is replaced with None.
