INTRODUCTION

This article discusses how to force users to use the Web-based Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 client instead of the Windows-based Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 client.

MORE INFORMATION

When you send a meeting invitation from Live Meeting, the invitation provides a URL so that users can install the Windows-based Live Meeting 2007 client or the Web-based Live Meeting 2007 client. You can edit the URL so that users must install the Web-based Live Meeting 2007 client.

To do this, replace join with webjoin in the following URL in the invitation:
https://www.livemeeting.com/cc/microsoft/join?id=MEETING&role=present&pw=ABCDEFG
After you replace join with webjoin, the following URL is used for the Web-based Live Meeting 2007 client:
https://www.livemeeting.com/cc/microsoft/webjoin?id=MEETING&role=present&pw=ABCDEFG
