Issue that the hotfix package fixes

This hotfix fixes the following issue that was not previously documented in a Microsoft Knowledge Base article:

You select a custom view in a SharePoint Portal Server library. When you do this, any queries that are part of the custom view may take longer than expected to run. Additionally, it may take longer than expected to display the results of those queries.
