When you try to send an e-mail message in which a user name or a recipient name contains quotation marks, the e-mail message is delivered to the Undeliverable folder in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM mailboxArticle ID: 937530 - View products that this article applies to. The hotfix that is
discussed in this article is not available for the Chinese version of Microsoft
Dynamics CRM or for the Japanese version of Microsoft Dynamics
CRM. On This PageSYMPTOMSWhen you try
to send an e-mail message in which a user name or a recipient name contains quotation
marks, the Microsoft Dynamics CRM-Exchange E-mail Router in Microsoft
Dynamics CRM 3.0 cannot deliver
the e-mail message. Instead,
the e-mail message is delivered to the Undeliverable folder in the Microsoft
Dynamics CRM mailbox. For example,
this problem occurs if an e-mail message contains a user or a recipient such as the following: Hite, Douglas "Doug" CAUSEThis problem occurs because the Router cannot correctly
parse
a
name that contains quotation
marks. The Router cannot create
the e-mail activity. Therefore, the Router delivers the message to the Undeliverable folder in the Microsoft Dynamics CRM mailbox. RESOLUTION
This problem was corrected in Microsoft Dynamics CRM 3.0 Update Rollup 3.
