SYMPTOMS

When Microsoft Forefront Security for Exchange Server processes a message that contains invalid uuencode header information, Forefront Security for Exchange Server treats the message as a uuencode message. During the scanning process, Forefront Security for Exchange Server incorrectly detects the message as a CorruptedCompressedFile virus. Therefore, the message is blocked.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, install Hotfix Rollup 1 for Forefront Security for Exchange Server.
