SYMPTOMSWhen you back up and then restore Windows Vista, the Microsoft .NET Framework is not restored correctly. CAUSEThis problem occurs because Windows Vista does not support writing the full set of files for the .NET Framework to the backup software.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, configure the backup software to include the all the files and the folders that exist inside the following folders:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section. MORE INFORMATIONBy correctly backing up the .NET Framework, you can make sure that applications that are built by using the .NET Framework continue to function correctly when you restore the files.
