Event ID 14380 is logged in the Communications Server log when you run the Conferencing Validation Wizard in Communications Server 2007 Access Edge Server

SYMPTOMS

When you run the Conferencing Validation Wizard to test a remote user on a computer that is running Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007 Access Edge Server, the following event is logged in the Communications Server log:

Description:
Some requests were rejected as they exhausted the Max-Forwards limit.
In the past 0 minutes, the protocol stack rejected 1 requests that were looping and exhausted the Max-Forwards limit.
The last such request had the From uri (sip:server.domain.com) and the To uri (sip:server.domain.com).
Cause:
This usually indicates an incorrect server configuration or a bad routing rule.
Resolution:
None needed unless the number of reported errors is large (> 100). Check whether all server routing rules are properly configured.

CAUSE

The Conferencing Validation Wizard starts with a maximum hop value of 1. This value continues to increase until the Conferencing Validation Wizard receives a response that is not a 483 response.

Note A 483 response is the error code for "too many hops."
