INTRODUCTIONMicrosoft Office 2003 Service Pack 3 (SP3) provides the latest updates to Outlook 2003. Office 2003 SP3 contains security improvements, stability improvements, and performance improvements. Some fixes that are included in Office 2003 SP3 were previously released in Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 2 (SP2) or as separate updates. Office 2003 SP3 combines previously released fixes into one update.

Then, you create a new e-mail message in Outlook 2003. However, some buttons in the message disappear. For example, these buttons include the To button, the Cc button, the Bcc button, and the From button. When you move the pointer over the Options button, the buttons reappear. After you log on an Exchange Server profile in Outlook 2003 many times, Outlook 2003 cannot log on to the Exchange Server profile After you log off a Microsoft Exchange Server profile in Outlook 2003, Outlook 2003 does not release the two handles to the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion registry subkey. If you log on to the Exchange Server profile again, Outlook 2003 creates two new handles to the registry subkey. If you log on to the Exchange Server profile many times, Outlook 2003 uses the handle resource. Therefore, you cannot log on to the Exchange Server profile. After you install the Windows time zone update on a computer that is running Outlook 2003, single-instance appointments or single-instance meetings in Outlook 2003 contain incorrect time information You create a single-instance appointment or a single-instance meeting in Outlook 2003. Then, you install the Microsoft Windows time zone update. However, the appointment or the meeting contains incorrect time information.
