SegmentID: NM1 Position in TS: 47 Unexpected segment
CAUSEThis problem occurs because the BizTalk Server 2006 R2 Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) runtime assumes that the equivalent subloop and the equivalent segments are in the order in which they appear in the implementation guides. The EDI runtime cannot parse any HIPAA messages that are not in that order. However, per the HIPAA implementation guides, the equivalent subloop and the equivalent segments are not ordered. RESOLUTIONHotfix informationA supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next software update that contains this hotfix.If the hotfix is available for download, there is a "Hotfix download available" section at the top of this Knowledge Base article. This hotfix includes some code fixes. This hotfix also includes a new set of HIPAA schemas. After you install this hotfix, the MicrosoftEdiXSDTemplatesKb939080.exe file is in the following folder: <Drive>:\Program Files\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006\XSD_Schema\EDI This hotfix contains updated schemas. Double-click this compressed file to unzip it. However, be aware that if you unzip the file to the same directory as the existing schemas, the existing schemas may be overwritten.STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
